Most questions are answered below. If yours isn't, email support@digitalforgepro.ai and include your phone model and what the app's status banner said. We reply within two business days.

Getting started

What do I need before using the app?
An existing City of Atlanta residential parking permit account at atlparkingpermits.rmcpay.com, created with the same email you'll enter in the app. If you sign in to the portal with a phone number instead, the app's login screen lets you switch to phone.
What details does the app ask for?
The same ones the City's form asks for on every permit: name, address, city, zip code, phone, email, and your permit zone. You enter them once and confirm them each time you open the app. Tap Edit Details if anything changes, such as a new address or zone.
How do I add a guest's vehicle?
Home screen, Manage/Add Vehicles, Add a Vehicle. Take a photo of the plate or choose one you already have, and the app fills in the plate, state, make, model, and color. Check them, give the vehicle a name you'll recognize, and save. You only do this once per vehicle.

Logging in to the portal

The portal asked me for a verification code.
That's the City's portal, not the app. It sends a short code by email or text the first time you log in from a new phone. Type the code on the page and the app carries on. It's usually only asked once per phone.
What's the PIN?
The 4-digit PIN you created when you set up your portal account. You can save it under Your Details so the app enters it for you; it's kept in your phone's secure storage. If you've forgotten it, use the Reset PIN link on the portal's login page.
The app says my email is filled in but nothing happens.
Tap Send Verification Code on the page. The app doesn't press that button for you, so you can switch to phone login if that's how your account was created.

Creating a permit

How many guest permits can I have?
The City allows two active guest permits at a time. If you already have two, the app stops at the availability check and tells you. The portal does not allow ending a permit early, so wait for one to expire and try again.
Will the app ever charge me?
No. Guest permits are free, and the app checks that the cart shows $0.00 before it submits. If the portal ever shows an amount due, the app stops and nothing is submitted.
The banner says some fields need my attention.
Occasionally the portal's vehicle model list doesn't include the model as saved. Complete the field on the page, then tap Continue to Checkout. You can also tap Fill Form Now if the app is waiting on a page you can already see.
Where do I see the permit I just created?
On the confirmation screen right after, and afterwards under Recent Permits on the home screen. Each one shows Active, Scheduled, or Expired based on its dates.

Photos and privacy

How does the photo reading work?
The photo is sent to an image-recognition service to identify the plate, make, model, and color, then the reading is shown to you to check. It's optional; you can type the details instead. Details in the privacy policy.
Where is my information stored?
On your phone only. There is no account with us and no server. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.

Purchases and refunds

How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, so refunds go through them: Apple's refund page or Google Play's refund page. If you're stuck, email us and we'll help.
